September was an exceptional month for Flan, and we're excited to share our remarkable experience at Demo Day! On September 4th, 2023, the DIFC Innovation Hub hosted the Demo Day for the Metaverse Accelerator Programme in the vibrant city of Dubai.
This programme and event aligns perfectly with the UAE's vision of becoming a global leader in the Metaverse economy, and promises to reshape the future not only for the region but also the entire world.
Earlier this year, Flan was honoured to be selected as a part of the first cohort of the Metaverse Accelerator Programme, an initiative by the DIFC Innovation Hub. The intensive three-month programme commenced with a launch event and an enlightening bootcamp. It culminated in collaborative pitch sessions with sponsors, all leading up to the Demo Day.
The Demo Day event unfolded with an atmosphere of anticipation as participants set up their booths and engaged in networking. The Welcome Address was given by Mohammad Alblooshi, the visionary CEO of the DIFC Innovation Hub, and their esteemed partners, which set the stage for what was to come. The highlight of the day was the pitch presentations by all the star-ups, and the event concluded with an invaluable networking opportunity.
Our journey at Demo Day was enriched by the presence of fellow innovative start-ups within our cohort, such as Artichoke Labs, Cognitive Technologies, Daoversal, DoDocs, Duverse, Evometa, GoPal, Intelligent Assist, ShopDoc.
The event served as a nexus for pioneering ideas and visionary entrepreneurs, fostering discussions on the Metaverse, web3, and gaming. Flan had the privilege of presenting our vision, sharing our current goals, and illuminating our future plans within the Metaverse landscape. The event was nothing short of inspiring, as we engaged in stimulating conversations with like-minded professionals who are shaping the future of the Metaverse.
