The World Of Web3 (WOW) Summit is a global Web3 conference. This time it was held from the 1st through the 3rd of November, 2022 in Lisbon, Portugal. Topics revolved around Blockhain, startups, AI, VR/AR, NFTs, and the Metaverse. With 100+ speakers and 1500+ attendees, this event was the place to meet passionate players in the space and discuss everything web3.
Additionally, we took part in Web Summit, which was held from the 1st through the 4th of November, 2022, also in Lisbon, portugal. With over 70,000 attendees, we had the chance to listen to extraordinary speakers, had amazing networking opportunities, and connected with worldwide and leading companies. At the Flan booth, we got to discuss the Metaverse, tech, Web3, and design with attendees and spread the Flan mission and vision.
Another highlight during the Web Summit for us, was meeting the Jordanian Delegation which was led by Minister of Digital Economy & Entrepreneurship H.E Mr. Ahmad Hanandeh at the Jordanian Startup meeting at the event, where we also got to meet innovative Jordanian startups.
On the last day of the Web Summit, our Co-founder and CEO Ghassan Murad showcased Flan on the Web Summit stage! Getting to introduce Flan and showcase our aim to contribute to the movement of creating a sustainable future for the gig economy was the cherry on top of our eventful week!
Throughout the week, we also met many familiar faces from the Celo community, founders and members of startups building on Celo and working towards a united goal of prosperity for all.
